Around The Panhandle | September & October 2017

Dear Readers,
Here we go again. So soon. I just don’t know where the summer has gone. Autumn has arrived it seems. Before we know it the sun will be setting earlier each passing day, but less daylight doesn’t equate to less social life in Around The Panhandle. There are so many festivals and events that take advantage of the beautiful, crisp fall weather, even as the length of daylight begins to wane.
With this issue of Around The Panhandle we have the honor of featuring an up and coming star from this area, Paul Long had the pleasure of interviewing Christian Lopez. And writer Bonnie Williamson visits the “scrumptious” Corner Creamery and Café, located down the street from the Martinsburg VA Medical Center. I enjoy a chance to try one of their 32 flavors of Ice Cream or a delicious lunch. And what a cozy atmosphere for a cool autumn day. Take a minute to read over the article from Erica Wanger about the life of Kelley and Jennifer Rankin, how a tragic accident can change your life forever. Kelley and Jennifer are the proud owners of Rankin Physical Therapy. When I had a shoulder injury I received care from their office in Martinsburg, the staff was amazing, so caring and knowledgeable on what treatment would work best for my recovery.
