Around The Panhandle | September & October 2015

Dear Readers:

Summer is winding down, Fall is fast approaching and football is finally back, whether it’s youth, high school, college or NFL. I know many excited fans around the panhandle who are excited about what the next few months have to offer.

Like most parents of little ones I am truly thrilled school is finally back. I work from home on most days so three months of little Karli trying to help became taxing to say the least. Kresha and I added another one to our family for the next year anyway, we are hosting a Rotary International Youth Exchange Student for the first time. Her name is Zeel and she hails from India. She is an extremely smart and well rounded young lady who will be attending Martinsburg High School.

This issue will not disappoint that I can assure you, we cover the entire panhandle as well as North and South of our little corner of West Virginia. Be sure to check out the article on Musselman Band Director, Mike Knepper which kicks off a six issue series of teachers who go above and beyond their normal duties for the love of teaching and inspiring others. I would love some nominations from parents or colleagues of those exceptional teachers that really make or have made an impression on your child.
