Around The Panhandle | May & June 2019

Dear Readers,

Summer is finally around the corner as we transition into this issue; so allow me to begin by thanking you for picking up this issue of Around the Panhandle. In the tradition of warmer weather brings people outdoors, this issue is filled with great articles, recipes and more. There is no excuse for not getting out and enjoying this beautiful weather and wonderful community we have here. Martinsburg Berkeley County Parks and Recreation is gearing up for another summer concert filled with great musical entertainment at the War Memorial Park from June 6th through August 15th.

If you haven’t tried food from a food truck, you may want to read about TwisteDoughs and try their famous Cinnamon Rolls made with real butter and topped with your choice of homemade buttercream icing, or orange icing. Now, its your turn to fire up the grill, to try the swordfish recipe with a fresh mango salsa, served with risotto and a fresh spinach salad. Summer is a time to get outside and enjoy the warmer weather by gathering with friends and family around the poolside, planting a garden, or going for a walk.

We would like to take this time to send our warmest congratulations to Angi Cornwell, as careers take you down many different paths. Mike and I are thankful that for a time, that path was ours. We will remember you with warm thoughts and memories. Best wishes to you in the future on your new endeavors.

Thank you to our readers and our advertisers, for your continued support. With each issue, you will find Things to Do, Places to go, and People to know.
