Dear Readers,

It is my honor to present to you our 50th issue of Around The Panhandle Magazine. As you, our dedicated readers know, we strive to bring a quality, well thought-out publication to you with every issue. Before becoming the information filled magazine that you all know and love, Michael Hornby had a dream. A dream to provide the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia with a glossy, colorful resource that would feature things to do, places to go, and people to know in our region.

This 50th issue of Around The Panhandle is no exception. However, it also features the amazing story of our hard working, President and CEO, Michael Hornby. I have no doubt that each of you will be as inspired by this as I was when you read his story of riches to rags to riches. I can’t begin to express how proud I am to be a part of Mikes’ journey and how thankful I am to both him and his wife Kresha for making me part of their family.

For those of you that know Michael Hornby, you know that he is both driven and humble. So enjoy his inspiring story, but know that this is only the beginning. There will be much more to come.
