Around The Panhandle | July & August 2015

Summer is finally here and the long, glorious and warm days are back. People are heading East for the beach and enjoying family functions in the back yard. This issue we bring you some great scenic drives around the eastern panhandle, as well as some great camping accessories to utilize this summer. We didn’t forget about your stomachs either, this issue is packed with delicious, delectable and mouth watering eating establishments.

Speaking of summer, we just celebrated Father’s Day and I wanted to give a special shout out to the greatest dad I could ask for – My Dad – Stewart Hornby. Dad you really are an amazing man who has given up so much for our family to be here, you have inspired me and taught me to be the man I am. Your guidance and unwavering love for me and my family has guided us through thick and thin no matter the circumstances. I just wanted to say Thank-You for being there Always and I love you for being you.

On July 1st I take on another journey in my life as I have accepted the nomination to be District Governor for Rotary District 7360. It is my honor and privilege to be able to serve as Governor for 77 clubs from Pennsylvania, Maryland and West Virginia. I am bias as you all know but Rotary truly is one of the best things that ever happened to me and I know if you give it a chance it could be for you to so visit your local Rotary Club and see just how rewarding it is for yourself.
